Tomato Soup

                              Tomato Soup


Try this Tomato soup rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and E. It is very good for heart patients. In this recipe carrots are added to make it more healthy. This tomato soup has a creamy texture and is very tasty. You can add cornflour to make your soup thick.
Ingredients
  • 10-12 or (1 kg) Tomatoes (half desi + Half hybrid
  • Olive oil + Butter
  • 2 Carrots
  • Bay leaves
  • 1 Flower Garlic
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper full
  • Celery
  • Milk Cream 
  • 1 Potato
  • 2 Tablespoon boiled Rice
  • 1 beetroot (optional)
  • Garlic
  • 1 onion
Procedure
  • Add Olive Oil
  • Add butter
  • Chop tomatoes
  • Add sliced onions
  • Bay Leaf
  • Salt 2 Tsf
  • Add Celeries
  • Add chopped carrot
  • Add chopped garlic
  • Add tomatoes
  • 1 grated potato
  • 2 -3 Tablespoon soaked Rice
  • 1 Beetroot
  • Add water in pressure cooker
  • Cool it and blend the mixture  in grinder.
  • Add salt and crush pepper
  • Add 2 tsf Sugar
  • Remove Bay leaves before grinding
  • Strain the soup
  • Heat the soup
  • Taste for salt content
  • Prepare bread crumbs
  • Blend tomato mixture
  • Add salt
  • Add crushed pepper
  • Add sugar 2 Tsf
  •  Add cornflour
  • Add 2-3 tsf of cream don't over boil after that


For Cutons
  • Slice bread
  • Deep fry
  • or dry roast
  • or microwave
For thickening
  • 1-2 tsf Rice
  • 1 Potato
  • or cornflour

Tips
  • Remove Bay leaves before grinding
  • Add fresh cream at last.
  • Serve hot piping soup in a bowl
  • Garnish it with a cream
