Madhu Chhanda: Dr Madhu Chhanda was born on 26th May 1960 in Nagpur (Maharashtra). She has done M.B.B.S. from Nagpur University in 1982. After illustrious career of 30 years in different capacities in Health & Family Welfare Department of Delhi Govt, she took voluntary retirement in 2016 as Chief District Medical Officer- SAG Grade. She also served National Rural Health Mission as Nodal Officer of East District during her tenure. For meritorious services in the field of Health care in Delhi, she was bestowed with State Award by by Honrable Chief Minister of Delhi on 01 July 2013. She was also honored by Indian Medical Association and Delhi Medical Association for her contributions. She is nature lover, avid reader and loves to travel and explore new places and cultures. She has been deeply interested in other branches of medical treatments and studied Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Yoga by herself. She also studied Atharva Veda in this direction. Presently she is pursuing her passion of working on alternate medicine and treatment through life style management.
